  • 1 piece Hole punch Optional, for making a hanging loop.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Set up a clean, flat surface to work on, covering it with newspaper for easy cleanup.

Cutting

  • Tear or cut the colorful tissue paper into small pieces or shapes. Opt for various colors to enhance the rainbow effect.

Creating

  • Using a paintbrush, apply a thin layer of clear adhesive to one side of the CD.
  • Place the pieces of tissue paper onto the adhesive layer, overlapping slightly to create dynamic patterns.
  • Once satisfied with the design, apply another layer of adhesive over the top to secure the tissue paper and allow it to dry completely.

Finishing Touch

  • Once the suncatcher is dry, use a hole punch to create a hole at the top (if using string), or tie a loop around the edge directly.
  • Hang your suncatcher near a window to witness the beautiful rainbow reflections created by sunlight.

Notes

Experiment with different shapes and sizes of the tissue paper for unique designs. Consider using glitter or other embellishments for added sparkle!
