  • 1 small container Container for mixing (if coloring) To mix water and food coloring.
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting petal shapes.
  • 1 piece Wire or toothpicks To serve as stems.
  • 1 piece Hot glue gun (or regular glue) To secure the petals.

Preparation Steps

  • Begin by stacking several coffee filters neatly.
  • If using color, dip them lightly into a container with water mixed with food coloring.
  • Lay the colored filters flat on a towel to dry completely.

Flower Assembly Steps

  • Once dry, cut the stacked filters into petal shapes, experimenting with different sizes.
  • Gently separate the filters and start stacking the petals to create fullness.
  • Use wire or toothpicks to push through the center of the petals as stems, securing with glue.
  • Wrap stems with ribbon or twine if desired.

Notes

Store flowers in a cool, dry location away from sunlight to preserve them. You can refresh their look by re-dyeing them or creating new arrangements.
