  • 1 bowl Mixing bowl For combining ingredients
  • 1 Spoon or spatula For stirring
  • as needed Heart-shaped silicone molds or cupcake liners Optional, for shaping
  • 1 Baking sheet For easy transport
  • as needed Crafting gloves Optional, for easier cleanup

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Begin by pouring one cup of warm water into your mixing bowl. Feel the warmth gently rising from the water.
  • Gradually add one cup of salt to the warm water and stir carefully until the salt dissolves.
  • While stirring, add a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolor. Observe the beautiful color swirls.

Molding

  • Once all the salt has dissolved, carefully pour your colored solution into heart-shaped molds or cupcake liners.
  • Place the filled molds or liners on a baking sheet for easy transport.
  • Allow them to sit at room temperature for 24 hours.

Finishing Touches

  • After the waiting period, gently peel the hearts from their molds or liners to reveal the stunning crystals.
  • Display your crystal flower hearts in a well-lit area or use them as enchanting decor.

Notes

Store the hearts in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. You can reuse them by placing them in water to recreate new shapes or colors. Experiment with different colors or add essential oils for a fragrant touch.
