Instructions

Preparation

  • Start by taking the empty toilet paper rolls.
  • Cover them in construction paper, using red, white, and blue for a patriotic theme.
  • Secure the paper with glue or tape, ensuring there’s no overlap.

Creating Firecracker Tops

  • Cut star shapes or strips of construction paper to form 'fuses' for the top of each roll.
  • Attach them securely to the open end of each roll using glue.

Adding Texture and Sparkle

  • Optionally, sprinkle glitter or add sequins to enhance the visual appeal.
  • Allow any wet glue to dry for a few minutes.

Finishing Touches

  • If using LED tea lights, place them inside the rolls for a glowing effect.
  • Tie colored ribbons around the base of each firecracker for a festive finish.

Notes

Customize the colors to fit your theme. You can use larger paper towel rolls for bigger centerpieces, and feel free to add personal touches such as family photos.
