DIY Firework Suncatcher

Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 piece Clear contact paper or transparency sheets
  • 1 pack Tissue paper in various colors
  • 1 piece Black construction paper
  • 1 each Pencil
  • 1 pair Scissors
  • 1 optional Glitter, markers, or beads for extra flair These are optional for decoration.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay down a piece of black construction paper as your base.
  • Snip various shapes and sizes of tissue paper, like small squares, circles, or strips.

Design Creation

  • Peel off the back of the clear contact paper or transparency sheet.
  • Arrange the tissue paper shapes on the sticky side, overlapping them.

Sealing the Design

  • Cover your design with another piece of contact paper or transparency sheet.

Final Touches

  • Cut around the edges, leaving a small border of contact paper.
  • Cut out a fun shape, like a starburst, from the black construction paper and glue it to the back.

Hanging

  • Punch a small hole at the top and thread a piece of string or ribbon.
  • Hang your suncatcher in a sunny window.

Notes

Use fishing line for a nearly invisible hanging option. Try different shapes like hearts or stars for decorations.
