  • 1 piece Tall container Use a glass or jar for the eruption.
  • 1 piece Tray or baking sheet To catch any overflow.

Preparation

  • Place the tall container in the center of a tray or baking sheet to catch any overflow from the eruption.

Mix the Ingredients

  • In your tall container, add 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring to the baking soda. Choose various colors for a vibrant effect.

Create the Eruption

  • In a separate bowl, mix 1 tablespoon of dish soap with 1/2 cup of vinegar.
  • Slowly pour the vinegar mixture into the container with the baking soda and food coloring.

Watch the Show

  • Observe as the reaction fizzes and erupts, creating colorful bubbles and foam that spill over the sides.
  • Enjoy the visual spectacle!
