Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup white school glue Regular white school glue works best.
  • ½ cup water Room temperature water is ideal.
  • 1 cup foam beads Use styrofoam or perler beads.
  • 1 cup shaving cream This will add a fluffy texture.
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution Acts as the activator for the floam.
  • to taste Food coloring Optional for coloring your floam.

  • 1 each Mixing bowl For combining all ingredients.
  • 1 each Spoon or spatula For mixing ingredients together.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white school glue and ½ cup of water. Stir until fully mixed, creating a smooth consistency.
  • Gently fold in 1 cup of foam beads. This adds the delightful texture!
  • Next, add 1 cup of shaving cream. Stir carefully to keep the air in the shaving cream.
  • Add 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution and mix thoroughly until the mixture begins to form together.
  • If desired, mix in a few drops of food coloring until achieving your desired shade.
  • Once combined, use your hands to knead the floam until it’s smooth and stretchy.

Notes

For variations, experiment with the amount of shaving cream for fluffiness, use different bead types for textures, or add scents with essential oils. Store floam in an airtight container.
