Main Ingredients

  • 1 piece Balloon (preferably in fun colors) Provides the outer layer for the stress ball.
  • 1 cup All-purpose flour Easy to find and provides a smooth texture.
  • 1 piece Funnel For easier pouring; can use paper folded into a cone.
  • 1 piece Scissors For trimming balloons as needed.
  • 1 bowl A bowl To hold the flour while working.

Optional Ingredients

  • a few drops Essential oils For added scent and soothing experience.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by selecting a balloon. Hold it in your hand; feel its texture and elasticity.
  • Using the funnel, carefully pour flour into the open end of the balloon. Let the soft grains sift through slowly.
  • Fill the balloon to your preferred size. You can adjust based on how much stress relief you want from it.
  • Once filled, gently pinch the opening of the balloon to prevent the flour from escaping.
  • Slowly pull the balloon off the funnel and tie a secure knot at the top.
  • Optional: If you’d like, trim the end of the balloon for a cleaner finish or leave it as it is for a more textured look.
  • Lastly, give it a gentle squeeze to test the softness.

Notes

These flour stress balls can be stored easily in a cool, dry place. If they feel less firm, consider refilling them with fresh flour. Each ball can also be personalized with essential oils or different fillers for a unique sensory experience.
