Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 piece Clear glass or plastic jar with a lid Choose a size that suits your project.
  • 1 cup Clear glue or water Clear glue is preferred for a better effect.
  • a few drops Food coloring or liquid watercolors (blue, purple, black, etc.) Choose your favorite colors for the galaxy effect.
  • 1 cup Glitter (fine or chunky) Add more for extra sparkle.
  • 1 cup Cotton balls or pillow stuffing Used for a fluffy base.
  • 1 piece Small LED tea light (optional) For illumination if desired.

Preparation

  • Start with a clean, dry jar to ensure the best results.
  • Remove any labels or stickers.

Creating the Galaxy Mixture

  • In a separate bowl, mix clear glue with a small amount of water to thin it out.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring (choose your desired colors) and stir.
  • Sprinkle in glitter to add sparkle.

Layering the Materials

  • Place a thin layer of cotton balls (or pillow stuffing) at the bottom of the jar.
  • Pour in a layer of the galaxy mixture until it covers the cotton.
  • Repeat the layering process with different colors, alternating between cotton and the mixture.

Finishing Touches

  • Once satisfied with the layers, seal the jar with the lid.
  • Optionally, place a small LED tea light underneath to illuminate your galaxy jar.

Notes

Experiment with different colors and layering techniques for unique results. Consider adding small decorative items like stars or planets for extra charm.
