Ingredients
  

Materials

  • 1 piece Clear plastic or glass bottle (empty) Make sure it's clean and dry
  • 1/4 bottle Water Fill about one-quarter full
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil Fill until almost full, leaving space at the top
  • a few drops Food coloring Any color of your choice
  • 1-2 tablets Alka-Seltzer tablets For activation
  • 1 piece Funnel (optional) To avoid spills while pouring
  • 1 spoon Spoon for stirring

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Start by cleaning your empty bottle thoroughly. Ensure it’s dry before beginning.
  • Use a funnel to avoid spills if needed.

Assembly

  • Fill the bottle about one-quarter full with water.
  • Slowly pour vegetable oil into the bottle until it’s almost full, leaving some space at the top.
  • Introduce a few drops of food coloring into the bottle.
  • Break an Alka-Seltzer tablet into smaller pieces and drop one into the bottle.
  • Once the fizzing stops, you can add more Alka-Seltzer pieces to keep the bubble action going.

Notes

Experiment with color combinations and different types of oil for unique effects. For added sparkle, include glitter in your bottle.
