Ingredients

  • 1 cup White glue (PVA) Main ingredient for slime
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda Helps in thickening the slime
  • 1 tablespoon Contact lens solution (with boric acid) Activates the slime

Coloring and Accessories

  • to taste Food coloring or liquid watercolors For adding color to slime
  • as desired Glitter (optional) For enhancing slime with sparkle

  • 1 Mixing bowl For mixing slime ingredients
  • 1 Spoon or spatula For mixing
  • multiple Disposable cups or containers For paint mixing
  • 1 Plastic sheet or old newspaper To protect the workspace
  • 1 Paintbrushes or fingers Tools for painting

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the white glue and baking soda.
  • Stir well until fully mixed.

Add Color

  • Divide the mixture into small cups.
  • Add a few drops of food coloring or liquid watercolors to each cup.
  • Mix until the colors are vibrant and well-blended.

Activate the Slime

  • Slowly add the contact lens solution to your colored mixture.
  • Stir continuously until the slime starts to come together.
  • If it’s too sticky, add a little more contact lens solution until the desired texture is achieved.

Painting Time!

  • Lay down your plastic sheet or old newspaper to protect your workspace.
  • Use your fingers or paintbrushes to apply the slime to a canvas or paper.
  • Experiment with layering colors and techniques.

Notes

Consider using unconventional tools like sponges or combs for different textures. Store leftover slime in an airtight container for up to a week.
