- 1 jar A clear jar with a lid (mason jar, baby food jar, etc.) Any clear jar with a tight seal works well.
- 1 cup Distilled water Regular water can be used but distilled is recommended to prevent cloudiness.

- 1 tablespoon Glycerin (optional, for slower movement) This thickens the mixture, slowing down glitter movement.
- various Miniature figurines or decorations (like trees, animals, or snowmen) Use holiday-themed mini figurines for seasonal flair.
- as needed Super glue Use for securing figurines to the jar lid.
Instructions
Preparation
- Begin by selecting a clean, dry jar.
- If you’re using figurines, superglue them to the bottom of the jar lid and let them dry completely.
Mixing
- In a bowl, combine distilled water with a few teaspoons of glitter.
- If you want a thicker consistency, add a tablespoon of glycerin.
Filling the Jar
- Pour the glitter mixture into the jar, filling it to about three-quarters full.
- Carefully add more water until the jar is almost full, leaving a little space at the top.
- Securely screw the lid on.
Enjoying
- Turn the jar upside down and shake gently. Watch the snowstorm unfold!
