Preparation

  • Begin by cutting a length of fishing line, about three feet long.
  • If using a needle, thread it with the fishing line.
  • Choose your first bead and slide it onto the line.

Creation

  • Continue adding beads to the line, playing with patterns or colors.
  • Once you reach the desired length, cut the line, leaving extra inches for tying knots.
  • Tie secure knots at each end of the bead strand.
  • If desired, attach the string of beads to a dowel.
