Instructions
 

Design Your Suncatcher

  • Sketch your design on a piece of paper, outlining the desired shape of your suncatcher.
  • Transfer your design to a piece of clear contact paper, sticky side up.

Cut and Arrange Materials

  • Cut the colored tissue paper into various shapes such as squares and circles.
  • Stick the cut pieces onto the contact paper, overlapping them for depth and color.

Seal Your Creation

  • Place another piece of contact paper on top to seal the colorful collage.
  • Trim around your design, leaving a small border of clear contact paper.

Add Hanging Mechanisms

  • Use a hole punch to create a small hole at the top of your suncatcher.
  • Thread the string or yarn through the hole and tie it securely for hanging.

Notes

Customize colors, shapes, and add texture by integrating various materials. Seal with mod podge for outdoor use to enhance durability.
