- 1 sheet Transparent plastic sheets or clear contact paper For the base of the suncatcher
- 2-3 sheets Colorful tissue paper or cellophane For creating colorful wings

- 1 piece Black marker or paint For outlining the butterfly design

Instructions
Preparation
- Draw or print a butterfly shape on paper and cut out to create a template.
- Use the butterfly template to cut a piece from the transparent plastic sheet.
Creating the Suncatcher
- Tear or cut colorful tissue paper into small shapes and arrange them in a swirly pattern on the plastic.
- Cover the tissue pieces with another piece of transparent plastic to seal the design.
- Outline the edges of your butterfly with a black marker or paint.
- Trim any excess plastic, keeping the butterfly shape intact.
- If desired, attach a string or fishing line to hang your butterfly suncatcher.
Notes
