Ingredients

Instructions
Preparation
- Select your base: Choose a wooden dowel or branch that is at least 12 inches long.
- If desired, paint or varnish the base for a personal touch.
Gathering Materials
- Gather items like metal spoons, shells, or bamboo for the chimes.
- The variety of materials will create different sounds.
Drilling Holes
- Space the holes evenly along the base (about 3-4 inches apart).
- Use a drill to create holes for the string to pass through.
Cutting and Attaching Strings
- Cut pieces of string or fishing line to different lengths for variety.
- Pass the string through the holes and tie knots at the ends to hold your chimes securely.
Adding the Chimes
- Tie your chosen materials (spoons, shells) onto the ends of the strings.

- Tie a longer string to one end of the base to create a loop for hanging.
