  • 1 roll Clear contact paper or window cling sheets
  • 1 pair Scissors
  • various bottles Acrylic paints or permanent markers
  • 1 piece Paintbrushes or sponges (if using paint)
  • 1 sheet Wax paper or parchment paper (for drying)
  • 1 clean surface A clean surface to work on

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Choose a clean, flat surface to work on.
  • Lay down wax paper to protect your table and allow for easy cleanup.

Designing

  • Cut your contact paper into desired shapes, such as circles, stars, or hearts.
  • Using acrylic paints or permanent markers, start designing your suncatcher.
  • If you want a multi-colored effect, let each layer dry slightly before adding another.

Drying

  • Once satisfied with your design, place the suncatcher on wax paper to dry completely.

Application

  • Peel off the backing and press the suncatcher onto your window or any smooth surface.
  • Smooth out any air bubbles for a flush fit.

Notes

Customize colors for different seasons or holidays, and consider using fabric or scrapbook paper for various textures. Store flat between sheets of wax paper to prevent sticking.
