Ingredients

Materials

  • 1 pack Clear plastic sheets or wax paper For creating the base of the clings.
  • 1 set Acrylic paints or fabric paint For coloring your designs.
  • 1 set Paintbrushes (various sizes) For applying paint smoothly.
  • 1 pair Scissors For cutting out the designs.
  • 1 1 Pencil For sketching your designs.
  • 1 1 Baking sheet If using oven drying methods.
  • 1 1 Oven Optional for drying the clings.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Choose a clean, flat surface for crafting.
  • Lay down protective covering like newspaper or a plastic sheet.

Designing

  • Use a pencil to sketch your desired designs onto the clear plastic sheets or wax paper.
  • Think about simple shapes like flowers, stars, or seasonal motifs.

Painting

  • Using the paintbrush, carefully fill in your design with paint.
  • Apply thick layers for vibrant colors; feel the texture of the paint as you go!

Drying

  • Let the designs sit untouched for 24 hours until completely dry (air drying).
  • Alternatively, place clings on a baking sheet and bake at a low temperature (150°F) for about 30 minutes to set the paint.

Cutting

  • Once dry, carefully cut out each design using scissors.
  • Pay attention to the edges for smooth and clean cuts.

Application

  • Place the clings on clean, glass surfaces. They should stick easily without any adhesive.

Notes

Tips: Swap materials for different textures, add glitter, and create themed clings. Store them flat to avoid bending.
