Instructions
Preparation
- Find a clean, flat area to work on.
- Lay down newspaper or a disposable tablecloth to protect your surfaces.
Mixing Paint
- In a mixing palette, combine your pastel acrylic paints with a little water to achieve a smoother consistency.
- Experiment with different shades by blending the colors together.
Painting the Jar
- Using a brush, generously apply the mixed paint to the inside of the jar.
- Use varying brush strokes to create a swirly galaxy effect.
- For a more textured look, dab a sponge in the paint and lightly tap it against the glass.
Adding Glitter

Drying

- Depending on the thickness of your paint, this may take a few hours.
Finishing Touch
- Once dry, place a battery-operated tealight candle at the bottom of the jar.
- Ensure it’s safe and will not catch anything on fire.
