Ingredients
  

For the aquarium base

  • 1 package Clear gelatin dessert mix (blue or green) Use according to package instructions
  • 2 cups Water For mixing with the gelatin
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut To mimic sand at the bottom
  • 1 cup Candy rocks or crushed graham crackers For additional decoration

For decoration

  • 1 cup Assorted gummies Fish, sea creatures, etc.

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine the clear gelatin mix with water according to package instructions.
  • Stir until smooth and glossy, ensuring there are no lumps.
  • Let the mixture sit for a few minutes until slightly thickened but not fully set.

Assembling the Aquarium

  • Sprinkle a layer of shredded coconut or crushed graham crackers at the bottom of your clear container to serve as the sandy ocean floor.
  • Carefully pour the gelatin mixture over the base layer, filling the container about halfway.

Adding Candy Creatures

  • Gently place gummy fish and sea creatures into the gelatin to make them appear as if they’re swimming.
  • Place the aquarium in the fridge and allow the gelatin to set completely, usually about 3-4 hours.

Final Touches

  • If desired, add another layer of gelatin and more candies for depth.
  • Once set, share with friends and family or enjoy it all by yourself.

Notes

Customize flavors with different gelatin and candies. Create individual servings using smaller containers. You can also add edible glitter for a magical touch.
