  • 1 package Blue gelatin For the ocean base

Treasures

  • 1 cup Assorted gummy sea creatures E.g., fish, octopus, starfish
  • 1 cup Shredded coconut To represent sand
  • 1 tablespoon Edible glitter For a magical touch
  • 1 optional Seaweed snacks For added texture
  • 1 unit Plastic shovel or scoop For digging
  • 3 unit Small containers For sorting treasures

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Dissolve blue gelatin in boiling water according to package instructions.
  • Pour the prepared gelatin into a shallow bin and allow it to set in the refrigerator until firm (about 2-4 hours).

Setting Up the Bin

  • Once the gelatin is firm, carefully insert gummy sea creatures into the ocean base, ensuring they are partially visible.
  • Top the jelly layer with shredded coconut to create a beach effect.

Treasure Hunt Setup

  • Use a plastic shovel to encourage digging and exploration.
  • Sprinkle edible glitter over the top and place small containers around for sorting the treasures.

Engagement

  • Invite children to dig through the gelatin using the shovel, finding and collecting sea creatures.
