  • 1 cup cornstarch Main ingredient for slime base.
  • 1/2 cup water Adds moisture and enables mixing.
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar Sweetens the slime.
  • 1/2 teaspoon food flavoring Choose between vanilla or fruit extracts.
  • to taste food coloring Optional, for color customization.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, add 1 cup of cornstarch and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar. Mix well until the ingredients are fully combined.
  • Slowly pour in 1/2 cup of water. Use a whisk or spoon to stir continuously.
  • Add 1/2 teaspoon of food flavoring for taste. If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to add some fun hues. Combine until the color is even.
  • If the slime is too sticky, add a bit more cornstarch; if it’s too dry, add a little more water. Knead the mixture with your hands for a smoother texture.

Enjoying

  • Use the slime immediately or store it in an airtight container in the fridge for later use. Have fun squishing, stretching, and, of course, tasting your creation!

Notes

Flavor variations include almond, lemon, or peppermint. Experiment with color mixing for creative slime. Add small edible glitter or confetti for a fun appearance. Adjust the cornstarch and water ratios based on thickness preferences.
