Egg Carton Reindeer
Create adorable egg carton reindeer that are perfect for holiday decorations or unique gifts, engaging all ages in a fun and eco-friendly craft.

Materials
- 1 unit Empty egg carton (cut into individual sections)
- 1 bottle Brown paint (acrylic or tempera)
- 1 unit Black marker or paint
- 10 unit Googly eyes
- 10 unit Red pom-poms (for the nose)
- 1 sheet Brown construction paper (for antlers)
- 1 pair Scissors
- 1 unit Glue (hot glue gun or craft glue)
- 1 unit Paintbrush
- 1 unit Optional: ribbon or twine (for hanging)
Instructions
Preparation
- Take an empty egg carton and cut out individual sections. These will be the reindeer bodies.
- Using brown paint and a paintbrush, cover the outside of each egg carton section. Allow them to dry completely—this will take about 15–30 minutes.
Assembly
- Once dry, glue googly eyes onto the front of each egg carton piece.
- Use a black marker or paint to draw a smiley mouth.
- Cut out antler shapes from the brown construction paper. You can create your design based on your preference!
- Attach the antlers to the top of the egg carton section using glue.
- Glue a red pom-pom onto the front as the reindeer’s nose for that classic Rudolph look.
Final Touches
- Let your reindeer dry completely before placing them around your home or gifting them.
Notes
Customization: You can swap colors—use different shades of paint to create unique reindeer! Add tiny scarves or hats made from fabric scraps for a personal touch.
