Ingredients

Materials

  • 1 unit Empty egg carton (cut into individual sections)
  • 1 bottle Brown paint (acrylic or tempera)
  • 1 unit Black marker or paint
  • 10 unit Googly eyes
  • 10 unit Red pom-poms (for the nose)
  • 1 sheet Brown construction paper (for antlers)
  • 1 pair Scissors
  • 1 unit Glue (hot glue gun or craft glue)
  • 1 unit Paintbrush
  • 1 unit Optional: ribbon or twine (for hanging)

Instructions

Preparation

  • Take an empty egg carton and cut out individual sections. These will be the reindeer bodies.
  • Using brown paint and a paintbrush, cover the outside of each egg carton section. Allow them to dry completely—this will take about 15–30 minutes.

Assembly

  • Once dry, glue googly eyes onto the front of each egg carton piece.
  • Use a black marker or paint to draw a smiley mouth.
  • Cut out antler shapes from the brown construction paper. You can create your design based on your preference!
  • Attach the antlers to the top of the egg carton section using glue.
  • Glue a red pom-pom onto the front as the reindeer’s nose for that classic Rudolph look.

Final Touches

  • Let your reindeer dry completely before placing them around your home or gifting them.

Notes

Customization: You can swap colors—use different shades of paint to create unique reindeer! Add tiny scarves or hats made from fabric scraps for a personal touch.
