  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons baking soda
  • 1 tablespoon contact lens solution (containing boric acid) Essential for activating the slime.
  • Glow-in-the-dark paint or powder Add according to package instructions.
  • Glitter (optional) For extra sparkle.
  • Food coloring (optional) To customize color.

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of clear or white school glue.
  • Add 1 cup of water and mix thoroughly until well combined.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of baking soda to the glue mixture and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Mix in glow-in-the-dark paint or powder according to package instructions.
  • For an extra sparkle, add glitter at this stage.
  • Gradually stir in 1 tablespoon of contact lens solution until the mixture begins to pull away from the sides of the bowl.
  • Take the slime out and knead it with your hands.
  • Incorporate food coloring if desired until you reach your preferred shade.

Notes

Experiment with different types of glue, like colored or scented options. Substitute baking soda with cornstarch for a different texture. Add essential oils for a calming scent. Blend in beads or small foam balls for additional textures.
