  • 1 jar Clear glass jar with lid (or a plastic container)
  • 3/4 full Water Fill the jar about three-quarters full.
  • 2 tablespoons Vegetable oil Can experiment with coconut or mineral oil.
  • various colors Food coloring Use different colors for a vibrant display.
  • optional Glitter For added sparkle.
  • 1 Plastic pipette or dropper To add the oil mixture to the water.

Instructions
 

Prepare Your Jar

  • Clean and dry the glass jar.
  • Pour water into the jar until it's about three-quarters full.

Create Your Fireworks Effect

  • In a separate bowl, mix 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil with food coloring.
  • Using a pipette or dropper, slowly add the oil mixture to the water and observe the reaction.
  • Sprinkle some glitter on top for added sparkle (optional).

Seal and Enjoy

  • Close the lid securely.
  • Give the jar a gentle shake and watch the 'fireworks' explode in a colorful dance.

Notes

Customize with different types of glitter or sequins. Place your jar near a light source to enhance the visual effect when shaken.
