Preparation

  • Gather all materials and set up a clean workspace.
  • Line your baking sheet with parchment paper to catch any spills.

Coloring the Sugar

  • Add a few drops of your chosen food coloring to each bowl/bag.
  • Use a spoon or seal the bag and shake until the sugar is uniformly colored.

Spreading the Sugar

  • Evenly spread the colored sugar onto the lined baking sheet.
  • Create fun patterns by layering the different colors.

Drying the Sugar

  • Allow the sugar to air dry for several hours, or place it in a preheated oven (200°F or 90°C) for about 10-15 minutes.
  • Keep an eye on it to avoid melting.
