Preparation

  • Gather all materials and set up your tray on a flat surface to catch any spills.
  • Position your small cups on the tray to create a colorful fizzing station.

Creating the Base

  • Fill each small container with equal parts of baking soda.
  • Add a few drops of your chosen food coloring into each container and mix gently with a spoon.

Initiating the Fizz!

  • Using a dropper or squirt bottle, carefully pour vinegar into each container with baking soda.
  • Observe the fizzing reaction that starts immediately, watching the bubbling colors mix and blend together.

Enjoying the Show

  • Take a moment to watch the colors and bubbles before the fizz settles.
  • If desired, add more vinegar to create even more fizz!

Notes
