Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda with 1/2 cup of water. Mix until it reaches a thick paste.
  • Separate the mixture into small cups and add different food coloring to each cup. Stir well to incorporate the color.

Freezing

  • Spoon the colored mixture into the ice cube tray. Ensure that each compartment is filled to the top.
  • Place the tray in the freezer for several hours, or until the cubes are completely solid.

Fizzing Reaction

  • Once the ice cubes are frozen, set up the reaction area.
  • Pour a small amount of white vinegar into a bowl or tray, deep enough to submerge the cubes.

Observation

  • Pop the colored ice cubes out of the tray and drop them into the vinegar.
  • Watch as the cubes fizz and dissolve, creating vibrant reactions and sounds. Enjoy the swirling colors and fizzing action for an entertaining experience!

Notes
