Fizzing Slime

Ingredients
  

For the Slime

  • 1 cup White school glue Use regular white school glue, not glitter glue.
  • 1/2 cup Water Tap water is fine.
  • 1 teaspoon Baking soda Add gradually to adjust thickness.
  • 1/4 cup Vinegar Be cautious and use adult supervision.
  • optional Food coloring Add a few drops for color.

  • 1 Mixing bowl For preparing the slime.
  • 1 Spoon For mixing ingredients.
  • 1 Container For storage after making the slime.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of white school glue.
  • Add 1/2 cup of water and stir until well combined.

Mixing

  • Add 1 teaspoon of baking soda to the glue mixture and stir thoroughly until dissolved.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until the color is uniform.

Fizzing Reaction

  • In a separate small bowl, combine 1/4 cup of vinegar.
  • Slowly pour the vinegar into the glue mixture while stirring slowly and watch the fizzing reaction.

Kneading

  • Once fizzing stops, remove the slime and knead with your hands. It will be sticky initially but will firm up.
  • If too sticky, add a little more baking soda, pinch by pinch.

Notes

For added fun, consider adding glitter or essential oils for scent. Store your slime in an airtight container to keep it from drying out.
