  • 1 each Container for mixing E.g., cup or bowl.
  • 1 each Dropper or small spoon To apply vinegar solution.
  • Optional each Paintbrushes For applying the paint.

Preparation

  • Cover your work area with newspaper or an old tablecloth to protect surfaces from spills.

Paint Preparation

  • In a bowl, mix baking soda with a small amount of water to create a paste-like consistency.
  • Divide the paste into separate containers if you want different colors.

Color Mixing

  • Add a few drops of food coloring to each container and mix well until you achieve your desired shades.

Painting

  • Using paintbrushes or your fingers, apply the baking soda paint onto your paper in creative designs.

Fizzy Reaction Preparation

  • In a separate container, mix vinegar with a few drops of food coloring.

Activation

  • Using a dropper or spoon, drizzle or squirt the vinegar solution over your baking soda painting.
  • Watch as the colors erupt and fizz, creating vibrant designs!

Completion

  • Allow your art to dry completely before displaying it.

Notes

Experiment with different shades of food coloring and try using different paper types for unique textures. Layer multiple colors for depth and use stencils for interesting patterns.
