- 1 cup baking soda
- 1 cup cornstarch Can substitute with white flour for a different texture.
- 1 cup white vinegar Adds fizzing effect.

Instructions
Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of cornstarch.
- Use a spoon or whisk to blend them thoroughly until well combined.
Mixing
- Gradually pour in 1 cup of white vinegar and watch the mixture foam and fizz, a key sensory cue of the reaction taking place!
Coloring
- Divide the fizzy mixture into small containers or ice cube trays.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to each section and stir well to blend.
Drying
- Allow the mixture to dry for about 24 hours until it’s completely solid.
- Feel free to leave outside in the sun for quicker drying.
Usage
- Once dry, use a paintbrush or sponge brush to apply water to your fizzy chalk paint.

Notes
Customize colors by mixing different food colorings. For a fizzier painting experience, add more vinegar.
