Ingredients
  

Painting Materials

  • 1 tablespoon Baking soda Base for the paint
  • as needed drops Liquid food coloring (various colors) For vibrant colors
  • as needed cups White vinegar For creating fizz
  • 1 piece Heavyweight paper or canvas Surface for painting
  • 1 set Small containers for mixing For preparing paint
  • 1 set Paintbrushes or droppers For applying paint
  • 1 set Old towels or paper towels For clean-up

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Lay down old towels or paper towels to protect your surface.
  • Gather all your materials within reach.

Create Your Paint

  • In small containers, mix a tablespoon of baking soda with a few drops of food coloring. Stir until combined.
  • In a separate container, pour some vinegar. You can add food coloring to this as well for variety.

Start Painting

  • Using a paintbrush or dropper, apply the colored baking soda mixture onto your paper or canvas.
  • Be creative! Use different colors and shapes to create your masterpiece.

Add the Fizz

  • Carefully drizzle vinegar over the painted areas.
  • Watch as the colors fizzle and bubble up, creating mesmerizing effects!

Let it Dry

  • Leave your artwork to dry completely before displaying it.
