  • Lay out your shallow dish or tray to catch any overflow.

Creating the Trees

Mixing the Fizzing Solution

  • In your small cup, combine about 1/4 cup of baking soda with a few drops of food coloring for added effect.
  • In a separate bowl, measure out 1/2 cup of white vinegar.

Starting the Fizz

  • Place your pipe cleaner trees into the shallow dish.
  • Slowly pour the vinegar over the trees, observing as it reacts with the baking soda.
