Instructions
Preparation
- Prepare the workspace by laying down cardboard or a flat surface to protect your table. Ensure your area is well-lit and comfortable.
- Select and dry your flowers. Choose flowers that speak to you and allow them to dry completely to keep colors vibrant and shapes defined.
Assembly
- Fill the molds by placing the dried flowers into the heart-shaped molds. Arrange them in a pleasing way, letting your intuition guide you.
- Mix the glue by applying a small amount of water to the clear-drying glue if needed based on manufacturer instructions, ensuring an even consistency.
- Apply glue generously using your brush or stick to coat the flowers with the glue, aiming for full coverage.
- Let it dry. Set aside your molds in a warm, dry space and allow the glue to dry completely, which may take several hours or overnight.
- Gently remove the hearts from the molds once dry, peeling them back carefully to reveal their intricate beauty.
Display
- Find a special place to display your floral hearts, whether on a mantle, windowsill, or as a gift.
Notes
Store your delicate hearts in a padded box or soft bag, keeping space between each to avoid scratches. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent fading.
