  • 1 bottle Clear glue A simple craft glue will suffice.
  • as needed petals Fresh or dried flower petals Easy to find at local markets or your garden.
  • 1 sheet Colored cardstock or clear plastic sheets Use as sturdy bases.
  • 1 piece Scissors For cutting cardstock or plastic to size.
  • 1 piece Small paintbrush For applying the glue.
  • optional as desired Glitter or sequins For added sparkle.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by preparing your workspace. Lay down a clean surface, ensuring everything is within reach. Take a moment to breathe deeply.
  • Choose your flower petals. Feel their softness as you pick through them, letting the colors inspire you.
  • Cut your cardstock or clear plastic sheets down to size. A rectangle or circle provides a great starting shape for the suncatcher.
  • Apply a generous layer of glue to the surface, ensuring it covers the entire area you plan to adorn.

Crafting

  • Begin placing your flower petals on the glued surface. Arrange them as you wish, allowing your creativity to flow freely.
  • Once your petals are arranged, apply another layer of glue on top. This seals the petals in place.

Finishing

  • Allow your suncatcher to dry completely. Use this time to reflect or indulge in another creative pursuit.
  • Once dry, hang your suncatcher by a window where sunlight can stream in.

Notes

To maintain vibrancy, keep away from direct sunlight for prolonged periods, and consider replacing fresh petals occasionally. Store in a cozy, protected space when not on display.
