  • 2 cups foam beads (white or colored)
  • 1 cup white glue Standard school glue works best.
  • 1 cup water
  • to taste Food coloring (optional) Use drops to achieve desired color.
  • 1 Mixing bowl For combining ingredients.
  • 1 Baking sheet or tray To hold the bubble pile while it dries.
  • 1 Wax paper To protect the workspace.

Preparation

  • Clear a flat surface and lay down wax paper to protect it from glue and foam beads.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of white glue with 1 cup of water and stir well until the mixture is smooth.
  • Slowly mix in a few drops of food coloring if desired, watching the color swirl into the glue mixture.
  • Gradually add the foam beads to your mixture, stirring gently to coat each bead in glue.
  • Spoon the mixture onto the baking sheet or tray, creating clusters or piles and shape them as you like.
  • Leave the foam bubble pile to dry for several hours or overnight.

Notes

Experimentation is key! Try different colors, glitter, sequins, and themed designs to customize your foam bubble pile.
