Instructions
Preparation
- Start with a clean glass jar. Make sure it’s dry and free of any residues.
- If desired, decorate the lid with twine or ribbon for an added touch.
Mixing
- In a bowl, mix 1 cup of Epsom salt with 2 cups of water.
- If you want to add color to your ‘snow,’ incorporate a few drops of food coloring.
- Stir thoroughly until the salt is dissolved.
Assembly
- Pour the solution carefully into the jar so it fills about halfway.
- Add any small decorations into the jar, positioning them creatively.
- To create a snowy effect, top your jar with a layer of Epsom salt or sugar, leaving some at the bottom mixed in the solution.
- Secure the lid on tightly.
Finishing Touches
