Frozen Volcano Color Explosion

Ingredients
Volcano Ingredients
- 1 cup Baking soda
- 1 cup White vinegar Can substitute with apple cider or wine vinegar.
- 1 tablespoon Dish soap Optional; adds bubbles.
- various drops Food coloring Use any colors you like for different explosions.
- 1 Small container or cup For the volcano mold.
- 1 Tray or shallow dish To catch overflow.
Equipment
- 1 Freezer To chill the volcano.
Instructions
Preparation
- Choose a small container to shape your volcano.
- Pour baking soda into the container until it’s about halfway full.
Mixture
- In a separate bowl, mix 1 cup of white vinegar with 1 tablespoon of dish soap.
- Add a few drops of food coloring to the vinegar mixture for colorful explosions.
Freezing
- Place the container with baking soda in the freezer for a few hours to create a frozen base.
Eruption
- Once frozen, remove the container from the freezer.
- Pour the vinegar mixture over the frozen volcano and watch it erupt!
- Enjoy the fizzing sounds and vibrant colors as they blend together.
Notes
For added creativity, mix glitter with the baking soda and try different molds for unique designs.
