Instructions
Preparation
- Set up a clean, flat surface, ensuring good ventilation.
- Lay down protective covering (like newspaper or a plastic sheet) to catch any spills.
Mixing the Resin
- Put on your gloves.
- In a disposable cup, measure equal parts of resin and hardener according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Stir thoroughly with a mixing stick for about 3-5 minutes until clear and well-combined.
Color and Glitter Addition
- Divide the mixed resin into smaller cups, adding different colors of acrylic paint to each.
- Sprinkle in glitter of your choice and mix well until evenly distributed.
- Pour different colored resins into the star mold, swirling and layering to mimic a galaxy effect.
Curing
- Tap the mold gently to remove bubbles.
- Allow the resin to cure for the recommended time (usually 24 hours) until solid.
Demolding
- Once fully cured, carefully remove the star from the mold.
- Admire the shimmering galaxy effect as you peel away the silicone.

For additional sparkle, consider adding small gems or beads. You can experiment with different color palettes and scents by adding essential oils. This craft is suitable for kids with adult supervision.
