- 3 pieces Clean, empty eggshells Make sure they are dry.
- 1 cup Epsom salt This is essential for crystal formation.
- 2 cups Water Boil for dissolving salt.
- Food coloring (various colors) Use to create beautiful effects.
- 1 piece Small mixing bowls To mix the coloring.
- 1 piece Spoon or stirrer For mixing solutions.
- 1 piece Baking sheet To hold the eggshells while baking.
- 1 piece Parchment paper or aluminum foil Line the baking sheet.

Instructions
Preparation
- Clean the Shells: Rinse the empty eggshells with warm water and let them dry completely.
- Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 250°F (120°C) for sterilization.
Create the Crystal Solution
- Dissolve Epsom Salt: Boil 2 cups of water and stir in 1 cup of Epsom salt until fully dissolved.
- Add Colors: Divide the solution into different bowls, adding food coloring to each. Mix until the desired colors are achieved.
Fill the Eggshells
- Pour Solution: Carefully pour the colored Epsom salt solution into each eggshell, filling to about 3/4 full.
- Add Glitter (Optional): Sprinkle some glitter for added visual effect.
Dry the Crystals
- Prepare Baking Sheet: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
- Place Eggshells: Carefully transfer the filled eggshells to the baking sheet.
- Bake: Place the baking sheet in the oven for 12-15 minutes, then turn off the oven and leave the shells to cool down inside. This will help the crystals form.
Reveal Your Creation
- Remove and Inspect: Once completely cool, gently crack open the eggshells to reveal your beautiful galaxy crystals.
- Display: Place your creations on display or give them as personalized gifts!
Notes
Experiment with different color themes and fillers. Use mini eggs for smaller crystals.
