Preparation
- Clean your jar thoroughly to ensure it’s free of any residues.
- Make sure it’s completely dry before starting.
Color Mixing
- Take a small bowl and fill it with water.
- Add a few drops of food coloring into the water and stir. Choose multiple colors for a vibrant galaxy effect!
Assembly
- Using a funnel, carefully pour the colored water into the jar, filling it about a quarter full.
- Observe the strings of color as they descend to the bottom.
- Slowly pour vegetable oil into the jar, filling it almost to the top.
- Watch the oil separate from the water, creating fascinating visuals.
- If using glitter, add in a few pinches for that extra sparkle that mimics stars in the galaxy.
