Instructions
Preparing the Eggshells
- Gently rinse the inside of the empty eggshells and let them dry completely.
- Set them aside on a paper towel.
Creating the Background
- In your mixing palette, squeeze out a small amount of paint in your chosen base color (e.g., black).
- Use a medium paintbrush to coat the outer surface of the eggshell evenly with the base color.
- Allow the paint to dry completely.
Adding the Ombre Effect
- Choose the next color (e.g., purple). Using a dry brush technique, dip your brush lightly in the paint.
- Start at the bottom of the eggshell, applying the purple paint and blending it into the black.
- Repeat this process with additional colors (like blue), gradually blending upwards to create a smooth ombre transition.
Adding the Crystal Effect
- Once the ombre effect is achieved and dried, spray a light layer of glitter or crystal finish over the eggshell for added sparkle.
- Allow it to dry completely.
