Galaxy Ornaments
Create beautiful galaxy ornaments using dish soap and food coloring for a cosmic touch to your holiday décor.

Materials
- 1 each Clear, transparent glass or plastic ornaments
- 1 tablespoon Dish soap (preferably clear or colored)
- 0.5 cup Water
- 3-4 drops Food coloring (various colors) Use different colors for a layered effect.
- optional amount Glitter For extra sparkle.
- 1 each Small funnel or dropper For pouring the mixture.

Preparation
- Ensure your ornaments are clean and completely dry before starting.
Mixing the Galaxy Effect
- In your mixing container, add about 1 tablespoon of dish soap.
- Follow with about ½ cup of water.
- Incorporate a few drops of food coloring. Stir gently to mix, avoiding too many bubbles.
- If desired, mix in some glitter for added sparkle.
Filling the Ornaments
- Place your funnel or dropper into the opening of the ornament.
- Carefully pour the soap mixture into the ornament until it is about ¾ full.
- Gently rotate or swirl the ornament to mix and create a galaxy effect.
Finishing Touch
- Once filled, securely cap your ornaments and add a ribbon or decorative hook for hanging.
Notes
Experiment with different color combinations for unique looks. You can also add a few drops of essential oil for fragrance. Try using different sizes of ornaments for a varied display.
