Ingredients
  

For the ornament mixture

  • 1 cup baking soda Base ingredient for the ornaments.
  • 1/2 cup white glue Provides adhesive properties.
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch Adds texture to the mixture.
  • 1/2 cup water To combine all ingredients.
  • to taste Food coloring (blue, purple, black, and white) For customizing the galaxy effect.

For crafting

  • 1 Mixing bowl To mix all ingredients.
  • 1 Silicone molds or cookie cutters To shape the ornaments.
  • 1 Wax paper For drying the ornaments.
  • 1 Twine or ribbon For making loops to hang the ornaments.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a mixing bowl, combine baking soda, cornstarch, and glue.
  • Gradually add water while stirring until smooth. The mixture should be thick but pourable.

Adding Colors

  • Divide the mixture into several small bowls.
  • Add food coloring to each bowl, mixing until you achieve the desired shades.

Pouring into Molds

  • Place wax paper on a flat surface.
  • Pour different colors of the mixture into silicone molds, creating swirls for a galaxy effect.
  • Alternatively, use cookie cutters for fun shapes.

Drying

  • Let the ornaments sit for 24–48 hours until firm.
  • Carefully remove from molds once dry.

Finishing Touches

  • Use twine or ribbon to create a loop for hanging.
  • Optionally, add sparkles or glitter for extra magic!

Notes

Experiment with colors and textures for unique creations. Use a clear sealant spray for a glossy finish.
