Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup water Regular tap water.
  • 2 tablespoons unflavored gelatin For creating the gel consistency.
  • 1 cup distilled water Used to dilute and add your scent.

Scenting Ingredients

  • 10-20 drops essential oils (e.g., lavender, lemon, eucalyptus) Choose your favorite scents.
  • a few drops food coloring Optional for color.

Supplies

  • 1 set small jars or containers For holding the gel air fresheners.
  • 1 piece saucepan For heating the water.
  • 1 piece whisk or spoon For mixing the ingredients.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Gather all materials and ensure you have a clean workspace.
  • Measure out 1 cup of water and pour it into the saucepan.

Heating

  • Place the saucepan on medium heat.
  • Wait until the water begins to simmer, but do not let it boil.

Adding Gelatin

  • Gradually sprinkle in the unflavored gelatin while whisking continuously to avoid clumps.

Mixing in Scent

  • Once the gelatin is fully dissolved, remove the saucepan from heat.
  • Add the 1 cup of distilled water, along with your chosen essential oils and food coloring if desired.

Pouring

  • Carefully pour the mixture into small jars or containers, leaving a little space at the top.

Cooling

  • Allow the gel air fresheners to cool and set for about 4-6 hours.
  • Once solidified, place them in your desired spots for lingering fragrance!

Notes

Experiment with different essential oil blends, such as citrus and mint for freshness or sandalwood and vanilla for a cozy vibe. Consider adding small sprigs of herbs or dried flowers for a natural touch.
