- 2 tablespoons gelatin powder
- 2 tablespoons salt as a preservative

Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of water and 2 tablespoons of gelatin. Stir gently until the gelatin begins to dissolve, avoiding clumps.
Heating the Mixture
- Transfer the mixture to a saucepan. Heat gently over low to medium heat, stirring constantly until the gelatin is completely dissolved. This should take about 5 minutes. Do not let it boil; just ensure all grains are dissolved.
Adding Fragrance and Color
- Remove the saucepan from heat. Stir in 2 tablespoons of salt and 1 teaspoon of essential oil.
- If desired, add a few drops of food coloring to enhance the visual appeal.
Setting the Gel
- Pour the mixture into small jars or containers. Allow them to cool at room temperature until set (about 2-3 hours).
- Place them in your chosen area once firm.
