Ingredients
  

Gel Mixture

  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin Ensure it is unflavored for proper setting.
  • 2 tablespoons salt Acts as a preservative.
  • 1 tablespoon essential oils Choose your preferred scent, adjust for strength.
  • food coloring Optional, for decorative touch.

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, heat 1 cup of water until it starts to simmer.
  • Slowly whisk in 1 tablespoon of unflavored gelatin, stirring continuously until fully dissolved.

Combining Ingredients

  • Once the gelatin is dissolved, add 2 tablespoons of salt and stir.
  • Stir in your chosen essential oils and mix well.
  • If desired, add a few drops of food coloring and mix until evenly combined.

Filling the Containers

  • Carefully pour the mixture into small jars or containers, leaving some space at the top.
  • Allow the gel to cool at room temperature until it sets completely, which should take a few hours.

Notes

These gel air fresheners will last about 2-3 weeks. Experiment with various essential oil blends for different moods and seasons. For a more organic look, consider using natural colorants like beet juice or turmeric.
