Ingredients
  

Base Ingredients

  • 1 cup Water For dissolving gelatin
  • 1 Tbsp Unflavored gelatin Easy to find at grocery stores
  • a few drops Food coloring Optional for vibrancy

Decorative Elements

  • Flower petals Choose your favorite varieties
  • Fruit slices Any fruit you prefer
  • Glitter Use for a sparkly effect
  • A mold Silicone molds or shallow dish work well
  • 1 Stirring stick A spoon or wooden stick

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • Measure approximately one cup of water and pour it into a small saucepan.
  • Sprinkle the gelatin over the water slowly and let it bloom for about five minutes.
  • Turn the heat to medium-low and stir the mixture until the gelatin is completely melted.
  • Once the gelatin is melted, add a few drops of food coloring and stir slowly.
  • Prepare your mold by layering your chosen decorations at the bottom.
  • Carefully pour the melted gelatin mixture over the decorations.
  • Place the mold in the refrigerator and let it set for about three to four hours.

Finishing Touch

  • Once set, gently pop the gelatin sun catcher out of the mold.
  • Enjoy the beauty and tranquility it brings to your space.

Notes

Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight. Can be reused by melting down and re-molding with fresh gelatin.
