Ghost Mud
A fun and engaging sensory play recipe for creating moldable Ghost Mud, perfect for Halloween festivities or creative play.
Ingredients
Main Ingredients
- 2 cups cornstarch
- 1 cup white glue (PVA or school glue) Can use different types of washable glue.
- 1 cup shaving cream Provides fluffiness to the mixture.
- 1 cup water
Optional Ingredients
- food coloring (black, purple, or green) Use to color the Ghost Mud.
- ghost-shaped cookie cutters For shaping spooky figures.
Instructions
Preparation
- In a mixing bowl, pour in the white glue and water.
- Use a spoon or spatula to mix them together until well combined.
- Gradually stir in the shaving cream.
- Slowly add the cornstarch into the mixture, stirring continuously.
- If adding food coloring, mix it in now until you achieve your desired shade.
- Once it’s mixed, use your hands to knead the Ghost Mud until smooth.
- Use your hands or ghost-shaped cookie cutters to form spooky figures and let them dry slightly for a 3D effect.
Notes
For more color, add glitter or glow-in-the-dark powder. Store in an airtight container to maintain moisture and texture. Supervision is recommended for children under 3.
