  • 1 piece Clear fishing line or thin wire Ensure it's strong enough to hold the beads.
  • 1 piece Metal or wooden ring (for hanging) Use a sturdy ring for best results.
  • 1 piece Scissors To cut fishing line or wire.
  • 1 piece Pliers If using wire, for twisting ends securely.
  • optional Clear adhesive or glue For securing beads if desired.

Preparation

  • Find a clean, flat surface to work on to avoid losing beads.
  • Lay out all materials for easy access.

Assembly

  • Measure your fishing line or wire to about 24-30 inches in length.
  • Use scissors (or pliers) to cut the line properly.
  • Thread the glass beads onto the fishing line or wire, mixing colors and shapes for a unique look. Leave space at both ends of the line for securing later.
  • Grasp both ends of the line and form a loop or knot to secure the beads in place. Twist the ends together securely if using wire.
  • Connect the bead strand to the metal or wooden ring and create a hanging loop from the ring using the remaining line.
  • Choose a sunny spot to display your suncatcher and enjoy the colorful reflections when sunlight hits it!
